Vacancy: PGM Control/ Weigh Master (Material & Production Planner)

As the PGM Control / Weigh Master, you will be responsible for customer order review, material planning and Production Planning including washcoat scheduling and other related assigned activities i.e. metal funding within the Malaysian Business Unit of Clean Air.

Your responsibilities:

  • Responsible for customers order review and develop three months production planning based on updated sales forecast to ensure customer delivery requirements can be met, hence achieving departmental objectives.
  • Responsible for effective material planning and timely funding of PGM and follow up with related activities to ensure KPIs and objectives as to quality and performance standards are met.
  • Responsible for effective production planning and tracking to ensure production department requirements are met with optimum Finished Goods inventories and hence meeting customers deliveries.
  • Responsible to provide backup and resume responsibilities of Logistics and Supply Chain area when required to ensure department requirement and objectives are met.
  • Responsible for production planning workflow improvement by working closely with engineers/executives and other operational staff and lead or participate in continuous improvement projects.
  • Required to liaise with other Engineers/Executives of other departments/sections, customers, suppliers, third party auditors and other business units within the Division to ensure that day to day production activities are well tracked and supported, hence business requirements are met.


Requirements for the role:

  • The knowledge of Incoterms
  • The statutory framework governing such as Custom, MIDA and MITI
  • The post holder will hold or complete a post-graduate certificate in Business, or other related qualification along with 1 – 2 years working experience in materials control, production planning, procurement, and logistics of manufacturing industry.
  • The processes of supply chain management
