Position: Pharmacist
About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Retail Pharmacist to join our growing pharmacy team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient care, support retail operations, and grow professionally in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily pharmacy operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant workflow.
- Dispense prescription medications accurately in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
- Verify prescriptions, check dosages, and ensure medicines are correctly prepared, labelled, and supplied safely.
- Provide professional consultation and advice to customers on medication usage, side effects, and general health matters.
- Conduct in-house health screening services, including blood pressure checks, cholesterol monitoring, and diabetes screening.
- Assist in training and guiding the retail team to maintain high service quality and operational efficiency.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring proper stock control and minimising wastage.
- Stay updated with current pharmacy practices, new medications, and therapeutic uses to ensure best patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from a recognised institution.
- Registered with the Malaysian Pharmaceutical Board (MPB) and qualified for Poison License A.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented retail environment.
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in both Malay and English (spoken and written).
