Lead piping engineering group and develop piping engineering design philosophies, design basis , specification and material selection.
Manage and plan piping design activities to meet client's specification within the agreed timeframe.
Review all piping design deliverables incl MTO done by engineers/designers such as piping route studies, piping general arrangement drawings, pipe and special support drawings , Pipe stress analysis etc.
Develop methodologies, schedules and piping material take-off exercise.
Review technical evaluation reports prepared by engineers.
Review the impact on health, safety and the environment in the piping design
Requirements:
A recognized Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 15 years Piping design both in conceptual engineering, FEED and detailed engineering for onshore/offshore oil & gas Offsite facilities incl bulk storage tank terminals
Familiar with international codes and standards such as API, ASME B31.3, ASTM, NFPA, NACE, DEPs, PTS, etc.
Knowledge in design software like 3D CADWorx, PDMS, Caesar ll, AutoPipe ,PipeNet
Exposure to EPC Site construction supports will be an advantage
