PLANNING EXECUTIVE (OLEOCHEMICAL INDUSTRY) BASED IN PASIR GUDANG, JOHOR

Company Overview

Our Client is a Multinational company specialized in Manufacturing of Oleochemicals, Specialty Chemicals and Consumer Goods, serving a broad portfolio of regional and global customers. The Company is looking for Planning Executive role supporting on production planning, supply chain coordination, and manufacturing operations, which involves collaboration with cross-functional teams within a dynamic production environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on production forecasts, customer orders, and demand requirements.
• Plan and optimize production sequences by considering product requirements, production capacity, manpower, machine availability, and material readiness.
• Monitor production progress and adjust plans to accommodate changes in customer demand, material supply, capacity constraints, or equipment-related issues.
• Coordinate closely with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, Quality, Sales, and other internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of production plans and on-time deliveries.
• Work with the Procurement team to ensure raw materials and packaging materials are available according to the production schedule, including purchase requisition management and delivery coordination.
• Maintain accurate planning data in SAP and other planning systems, while preparing production planning reports, KPIs, and performance dashboards using Excel and Power BI.
• Support continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing production efficiency, capacity utilization, inventory management, and delivery performance.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent.
• Preferably with 1-2 years of experience in production planning in manufacturing environments, exposure in oleochemical / chemical / food industry would be a plus. Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are also welcomed to apply.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, knowledge in SAP and Power BI system would be added advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and coordination skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
