Planning Team Lead

Primary Responsibilities:

Planning & Execution

• Strategic Scheduling: Create comprehensive production timelines based on customer demand and sales forecasts.
• Operational Release: Execute weekly schedules and release work orders, adapting quickly to shifting demand patterns.
• Readiness Coordination: Partner with material planners to confirm that all components and labor resources are staged and ready before production begins.
• Data Accuracy: Analyze demand loading reports to support precise weekly Material Requirements Planning (MRP) cycles.

Monitoring & Risk Mitigation

• Proactive Problem Solving: Identify potential delays—such as equipment downtime or supply chain gaps—and adjust schedules to safeguard delivery dates.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor floor progress in real-time, resolving bottlenecks and managing work orders to prevent aging or stagnation.
• Financial Oversight: Generate material exposure reports to manage excess inventory and End-of-Life (EOL) parts, minimizing financial liability.

Process Optimization & Compliance

• Workflow Integration: Work closely with manufacturing teams to enhance resource allocation and streamline workflows.
• Change Management: Coordinate Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and phase-in dates for smooth product transitions.
• Standards & Communication: Maintain strict adherence to safety, quality, and environmental regulations while providing transparent status updates to all stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement: Regularly evaluate and refine planning methodologies to increase overall efficiency.

Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:

Professional Background

• Experience: 5+ years in production planning within a manufacturing environment.
• Systems Expertise: High proficiency in MRP/ERP software and MS Excel.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of manufacturing workflows, inventory management, supply chain principles, and demand forecasting.
• Can be based in Tampoi site.
