Duties and responsibilities:
- Ensure the compliance of all Operator's obligations as per the O&M Agreement and Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).
- To ensure timely reporting of the PV Plant's operational parameters to all Stakeholders, on a daily, weekly and monthly basis as per the O&M Agreement or as and when required by the Stakeholders.
- Keep track and present the monthly financial report to the Stakeholders, in terms of O&M budget and expenses.
- Accountable to the Plant's KPI in terms of Performance Ratio and Availability.
- Accountable to plan and execute the Annual Maintenance Plan by leading a team of experienced contractors, technicians and engineers.
- Develop and train the O&M team with the best practice standards in the operations and maintenance of the PV plant.
- Advise on technical know-how to carry out the O&M tasks of the PV plant through in-house teams and/or specialist contractors.
- Ensure all statutory regulations and safety compliances of the LSS plant are complied.
- Perform stakeholder management with local authorities and utilities such as TNB, JAP, JKKP and other regulatory bodies.
- Identify the shortages/gap/difference in expectations throughout the operational duration of the PV plant, in terms of technical competencies of personnel up to equipment needs. Propose improvement plans accordingly.
- Ensure the renewal of all necessary and mandatory licenses and insurances.
- Perform Plant's general administrative management duties, including HR management and office establishment.
- Performs other duties assigned by management from time to time.
- Assist the Head of Department to ensure the Asset Management team's compliance to company policy guided by ISO processes.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 to 8 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position or equivalent.
- Plant Management and/or past solar experience is desirable.
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering field of study (preferably Electrical and Electronics).
- Good read/write/speech command in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, management and collaborative skills.
- Solid planning and organizational skills.
- Candidate is subjected to work out of office-hours in any urgent events as and when needed.
