Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain plating equipment including chemical dipping, waterjet deflashing, and electroplating systems.
Perform equipment conversion and product start checks to ensure operational stability and quality.
Troubleshoot equipment and quality-related issues during unscheduled downtime.
Conduct shiftly machine start checks and scheduled preventive maintenance.
Maintain high equipment efficiency by minimizing downtime and optimizing machine utilization.
Develop and maintain process documentation such as SOPs and maintenance history (for senior roles).
Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Lead or support improvement initiatives to enhance equipment efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
Uphold 5S standards and cleanliness in production areas, maintenance rooms, and washing bays.
Adhere to company policies and all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Participate in training programs to maintain and enhance technical competencies.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or engineers.

Job Requirements:

Education: Diploma in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical) or equivalent.
Experience:
Technician: Minimum 3 years in plating or semiconductor manufacturing.
Senior Technician / Technical Expert: Minimum 8 years in plating operations, preferably in lead frame or semiconductor plating.
Shift Work: Must be willing to work in rotating shifts depending on operational needs.
Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with plating equipment such as: Chemical Deflashing / Dipping, Waterjet Deflashing, Automated Electroplating Systems, Automated Chemical Dipping.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
Applicants must be willing to work in Telok Panglima Garang (FIZ), Selangor.
