Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Software Tester to join our team and play a critical role in
ensuring the quality of our software applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for
organizing and conducting tests throughout the software development cycle to ensure the
software meets or exceeds our expectations.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in software testing.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Ability to analyse requirements, identify issues, and solve problems.
• Experience with automated testing tools (e.g. Playwright) and scripting languages (e.g.
Typescript).
• Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and testing methodologies.
2+ years of experience in Playwright, Typescript and proven track record of automation
Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI, Karate)
Knowledge on Swagger REST AP
Plus, Experience/Exposure
Azure on how to deploy API's
Docker
JIRA
Exceptional Analytical and Communication skills to assert quality of the product and report
findings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and execute test plans and strategies for software applications.
• Perform functional and system testing of software applications to identify any issues or
defects.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure requirements are met and
communicated properly.
• Collaborate with the development team to identify bugs and provide detailed
information to assist them in quickly identifying and resolving the issues.
• Participate in the design and development of automated testing scripts.
• Create, maintain, and update test cases and test data.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to enhance product quality and resolve
defects.
• Report defects and issues through a bug tracking system and work closely with the
development team to prioritize and resolve them.
• Actively participate in product release planning and ensure the product meets all
requirements.
• Provide regular updates on testing progress and identify any risks or issues that may
impact the project timeline.
