This position reports to Chief Investment and Returns Officer
The PMO & Investment Lead is a dual-purpose role designed to drive strategic, commercial, and operational initiatives across the Group while supporting the mandate to deliver steady shareholder returns. The successful candidate will support the Chief Investment & Returns Officer (CIRO) and Chief of Staff in overseeing internal operating units and managing the implementation of Group-led initiatives across various parts of the business. You will be responsible for translating complex data into actionable insights and managing the execution of high-priority projects.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Analysis & Investment Evaluation
- Conduct deep-dive research into market trends, competitive landscapes, and new business initiatives to identify performance drivers
- Support evaluation of potential new investment or partnership opportunities and transactions, providing data-driven recommendations
- Synthesize complex financial and operational information into concise insights and recommended actions for senior management and the Board
- Support the preparation of materials for GCEO and Board discussions (e.g. slides, briefing notes, dashboards)
Project Management Office (PMO) & Governance Support
- Lead Project Management Office (PMO) setup by translating strategic plans into practical implementation plans and tracking execution progress
- Coordinate operational and organisational readiness for new initiatives, including managing roles, dependencies, and risks.
- Ensure process and governance compliance across business units and corporate functions
Stakeholder Management & Coordination
- Act as a central coordination point between the GCEO Office, CIRO team and business units, corporate functions, and project teams
- Engage stakeholders to gather inputs, align expectations, and resolve issues
- Prepare high-level materials for Board and Group Management Committee (GMC) discussions, including dashboards, briefing notes, and proposals
Who are we looking for
- 4 6 years of relevant experience in consulting, corporate strategy, PMO, or similar roles. Profiles with strong PMO and multi-stakeholder management background preferred
- Proven track record in managing complex projects and organisational change
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, often unstructured environment with high levels of ambiguity
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Exposure to structured problem-solving and data-driven analysis is highly desirable
- Prior experience in the Telecommunications & Technology sectors is advantageous
