Title: POI Editor - Thai Speaker
Working hours: 24/7 rotational shift, 5 days a week (Monday - Sunday)
Location: Kuala Lumpur, this is an onsite role
Salary: RM 4,500 - RM 4,900 (total salary)
Job Description:
1. Map Data Review & Quality Checking
- Review, verify, and update map-related information such as Points of Interest (POIs), Areas of Interest (AOIs) and geographical data.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency based on online sources, imagery, and company guidelines.
2. Research & Information Validation
- Conduct basic online research to gather accurate details about locations (e.g., business name, address, operating hours).
- Cross-check information from multiple sources (websites, imagery, documents).
3. Error Identification & Corrections
- Identify incorrect, outdated, or missing map data.
- Edit and update map entries following defined policies and specifications.
4. Analytical & Problem-Solving Work
- Use logical reasoning to ensure data accuracy and quality.
- Analyze issues and make data-driven corrections.
5. Language-Specific Review
- Use Thai fluency to verify location names, signage, and content listed in those languages.
6. Operational Efficiency
- Handle tasks with high attention to detail while meeting productivity and quality targets.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
7. Adaptability
- Work effectively in a fast-changing environment (typical for map updates and digital content).
Requirement:
- Minimum 1 year experience in market research, mapping or research.
- Able to read, write & speak professionally in Thai.
- Willing to relocate to Malaysia and have a valid passport with minimum 16 months validity.
