Post silicon execution engineer

About the role

• As a key contributor, you will be responsible for validating Post-Silicon Best Known Configurations, safeguarding system recipe and stability across the entire stack from system firmware to OS-level products.
• This role offers you the chance to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and tackle exciting technical challenges that directly impact product quality.

Responsibilities:

• Validate Post-Silicon Best Known Configurations to ensure system recipe and stability from the system firmware up to the OS levels products.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders for the execution of validation tasks and triage of issues.
• Execute both manual and automated regression testing for system-level validation test cases.
• Create regression indicators/status reports to convey validation results.
• Triage regression failures.
• Set up System Under Test (SUT) for validation, including hardware installation such as CPU, DIMM, NIC, etc.
• Maintain and monitor SUT health.
• Troubleshoot hardware failures.
• Maintain and keep lab inventory organized.

Qualifications:

• Preferred: PC architecture and modern x86 microprocessor knowledge.
• Skills in manual/automated system-level regression testing, regression reporting and failure triage.
• Proficient with hardware debugging tools (protocol analyzers, oscilloscopes).
• Able to set up SUT (hardware installation), install BIOS and operate Windows/Linux OS. Capable of SUT health monitoring, hardware troubleshooting and lab inventory management.
• Self-motivated team player with strong English communication skills; have self-disciplined work habits.
• Passion for technical problem-solving.
• Eligibility: Fresh Graduates or <7 years of post-silicon validation/debug experience.
