PQA Technical Superintendent
Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate the PQA team to resolve production quality issues and ensure timely issue closure with effective corrective actions.
- Collect, analyze and review product yield rates; drive continuous improvement initiatives with cross-functional teams.
- Lead and support customer Quality Process Audits (QPA) and Quality System Audits (QSA).
- Handle customer quality complaints and coordinate internal teams to investigate, respond and close issues.
- Assist Manufacturing Product Management (MPM) in addressing customer quality-related requirements and expectations.
- Establish and maintain quality control plans; ensure manufacturing processes comply with defined control plan requirements.
- Review RMA status and trends, and drive improvement actions to reduce recurrence.
- Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) and prepare complete FAI reports according to customer requirements.
- Lead weekly FPY (First Pass Yield) review meetings with customers to monitor performance and align on quality targets.
- Manage and guide PQA engineers, including manpower planning, job scope review and performance effectiveness.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or related field).
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Production Quality / Manufacturing Quality; supervisory experience is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (FAI, FPY, yield analysis, control plan, CAPA, 8D).
- Experience handling customer audits, quality complaints and RMA processes.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and quality management systems.
- Able to work cross-functionally with Production, Engineering and Customer Quality teams.
- Good communication skills in English; Mandarin is an added advantage for customer or supplier interaction.
- Hands-on, proactive, and able to lead a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
