PR, Communications & Branding Lead

As the PR, Communications & Branding Lead, you will play a key role in shaping and strengthening FINEXUS corporate brand, reputation, and market presence. This role is responsible for ensuring that every communication reflects the company's vision, values, and expertise while positioning FINEXUS as a trusted fintech leader across the region.

Your work will directly influence how customers, partners, investors, media, and future talent perceive the organisation. Through strategic storytelling, thought leadership, media engagement, and integrated branding initiatives, you will enhance brand equity, strengthen corporate reputation, and support the company's long-term growth.

About The Role

We are looking for a brand strategist to join our growing team! The PR, Communications, and Branding Lead role drives FINEXUS brand and storytelling strategy, translating the Group's expertise into clear, compelling narratives that enhance FINEXUS market presence and brand awareness. Partnering with leadership, the role owns thought leadership, media, executive communications, corporate reputation, and orchestrates brand-led campaigns and events to build lasting brand impact.

Mission / Expected Outcomes

  • Strengthen FINEXUS corporate brand and market positioning through strategic communications and storytelling.
  • Build and protect the Group's reputation across media, digital platforms, and key stakeholder channels.
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality internal and external communications aligned with business objectives.
  • Position FINEXUS and its leadership as recognised thought leaders within the fintech industry.
  • Drive successful integrated campaigns and corporate events that enhance brand awareness and stakeholder engagement.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Integrated Communications

  • Support the Head of Department in planning and executing group-wide PR, communications, and branding strategies.
  • Develop high-impact corporate, product, and executive communications to enhance brand awareness.
  • Drive continuous improvement in all communications initiatives, utilising data and analytics to make recommendations and continually raise the bar on quality and impact.
  • Ensure message consistency, clarity, and quality across all internal and external communication channels, i.e. intranet, website, press releases, thought leadership articles, white papers, case studies, EDMs, social media, videos, brochures, etc.
  • Build and manage media relationships across business, financial, and tech publications to secure high-value coverage and thought leadership opportunities.
  • Deliver impactful internal communications that support employee engagement and employer branding via intranet.

Branding & Storytelling

  • Ensure strict adherence to brand guidelines across all internal and external communications.
  • Establish and streamline internal communication frameworks to ensure clarity, alignment, and a unified voice across the organisation.
  • Lead employer branding initiatives to strengthen talent attraction and positioning on Glassdoor, Hiredly, Indeed, Google, and LinkedIn.
  • Own and evolve the FINEXUS brand story nationally and regionally, translating business strategy, transformation initiatives, and technical capabilities into clear, compelling stories across all Group channels.
  • Develop editorial themes and content pillars aligned with FINEXUS brand positioning, product priorities, and enterprise GTM strategy.
  • Drive the development and amplification of thought leadership, positioning FINEXUS and its leadership as authoritative voices in the industry through high-impact content, media opportunities, and speaking engagements.

Reputation Management

  • Manage and monitor brand reputation across all channels, i.e. website, media, intranet, social media, Glassdoor, Google, etc.
  • Effectively utilise media monitoring and social listening tools to manage content pivots and protect corporate reputation.
  • Monitor media coverage and stakeholder sentiments, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Oversee crisis communication efforts, ensuring timely and accurate information dissemination.

Stakeholders Management

  • Actively collaborate with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders, i.e. product team, marketing team, senior management, media, vendors, agencies, etc.
  • Handle senior management's executive communications, such as speaking opportunities and thought leadership content.
  • Prepare talking points, speeches, presentations, and other supporting materials for industry keynotes as needed.

Events Management

  • Conceptualise and implement comprehensive branding and marketing plans for corporate events, including exhibitions, tradeshows, webinars, product launches, media briefings, and roundtables.
  • Drive pre-, during-, and post-event communications, i.e. teasers, media outreach, live coverage, and post-event amplification.
  • Support internal events to reinforce FINEXUS values among employees, i.e. town hall, annual dinner.

  • Communications & Branding: Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Brand Strategy, Executive Communications, Internal Communications

  • Media & Reputation: Media Relations, Crisis Communications, Reputation Management, Social Listening, Media Monitoring

  • Marketing & Events: Content Marketing, Thought Leadership, Employer Branding, Corporate Events, Campaign Management

  • Tools: Microsoft Office Suite, Google Analytics, LinkedIn, CMS platforms, Media Monitoring Tools, Social Media Management Platforms, CRM and Marketing Automation tools

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a communications or branding role.
  • At least 2 years of experience in B2B marketing.
  • At least 2 years of experience managing a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Able to clearly articulate ideas and communications strategy.
  • Independent and self-starter.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

  • Experience within the fintech, financial services, SaaS, or B2B technology industry.
  • Experience developing executive thought leadership programmes.
  • Familiarity with media monitoring, social listening, and analytics platforms.
  • Experience supporting regional communications and multi-market branding initiatives.
  • Knowledge of employer branding strategies and talent attraction campaigns.
