Role Description

The Preferred Relationship Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kuching. This individual will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of high-net-worth clients by providing tailored financial advice and solutions. Key duties include building strong client relationships, evaluating their financial needs, recommending appropriate banking and investment products, and achieving individual and team financial targets. Additionally, the role involves ensuring exceptional customer service and compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Client Relationship Management and Customer Service skills to build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with high-net-worth clients.
  • Financial Planning, Wealth Management, and Investment Knowledge for providing tailored financial solutions and comprehensive strategies.
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills to effectively convey complex financial concepts and foster trust with clients.
  • Sales and Negotiation Skills to meet financial targets and address client needs effectively.
  • Proficiency in Banking Processes and Regulations along with attention to compliance and detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Certified Financial Planner, CFA) are advantageous.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within banking, financial services, or wealth management.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing client needs.
