Job Description

• Deliver product presentations and demonstrations to customers, highlighting features, benefits, and use cases
• Support customer engagements and technical discussions throughout the sales cycle
• Address customer inquiries and coordinate follow-up responses with internal experts and technology partners
• Plan, coordinate, and manage proof-of-concept (POC) activities from initiation to completion
• Perform product installation, configuration, and demonstrations for POCs where required
• Document POC outcomes and present findings to customers
• Prepare technical responses for RFPs, RFQs, and other proposal submissions
• Work with sales teams, consultants, and vendors to ensure accurate and timely proposal completion
• Build and maintain implementation knowledge of mainframe solutions and deployment scenarios
• Participate in training, certifications, and product enablement programs
  
  

The Successful Applicant

A Successful Presales Consultant (Mainframe) Should Have

• At least 2 years of experience in a mainframe environment (z/OS experience preferred)
• Exposure to technologies such as CICS, MQ, or DB2 is an advantage
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Proven ability to translate technical concepts into business solutions.
• Technical aptitude with the ability to install and configure solutions for demonstrations and POCs
• Experience in preparing technical documentation and proposals.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in analysing client requirements and recommending solutions.
• A collaborative mindset to work effectively with sales and delivery teams.
