Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our dynamic team at My Kiddyland Suria @ North Kiara, Kepong. The ideal candidate will inspire young learners through creative and immersive language experiences, fostering a love for language and culture in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate Mandarin lessons for preschool children.
- Create a immersive Mandarin-speaking environment to enhance language acquisition.
- Design and implement interactive activities, stories, songs, and games to make learning fun and effective.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing constructive feedback to parents during meetings or through progress reports.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop interdisciplinary learning themes.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development sessions.
Who We Are Looking For
Education & Certification:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Mandarin Language, or a related field.
- Teaching certification or relevant training in Mandarin language education is preferred.
Experience:
- Prior experience teaching Mandarin to young children (ages 3-6) in a preschool or enrichment setting.
- Familiarity with child-centered and play-based learning methodologies.
Skills & Attributes:
- Excellent verbal and written Mandarin skills (proficiency in spoken and written English & Malay is an advantage).
- Creative, patient, and passionate about working with children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
