Universal Robina Corporation is looking for an Planner, Preventive Maintenance (2-year Contract).

Under the supervision of Projects, Maintenance and Engineering Manager, the Preventive Maintenance Planner is responsible in managing company assets, ensure parts availability, plan and implement preventive maintenance programs and perform condition based monitoring.

What are the Job Responsibilities

Asset Management and Maintenance Planning (60%)

  • Prepares maintenance plan of each piece of equipment in the plant using criticality analysis.
  • Schedules maintenance activities by preparing necessary resources such as spare parts, manning and time to implement the plan and conduct team meeting.
  • Analyzes and evaluates the effectiveness of maintenance plan such as % PM implementation, quality of work maintenance hour usage, condition monitoring and spare parts usage (fast moving, slow moving, insurance & opex).
  • Generates backlog report then reschedule maintenance work according to priority. Prepares analysis of backlogs. Regularly prepares and update the daily, weekly maintenance schedules
  • Monitors, analyzes and the proper expend of utilities to improve yields on fuel, electricity, air and water. Recommends action plans to superintendent or supervisor.
  • Analyzes inventory level and forecast of needed consumables and tear parts.

Machine Knowledge and Application (20%)

  • Translates machine design, technical specifications, machine manuals and machine spare parts requirements into the requirements of PM plan.
  • Design machine equipment manuals and troubleshooting guides.
  • Supports installation and commissioning of machines.
  • Conduct technical training support to maintenance programs.
  • Formulates corrective actions to address complex production problem
  • Detects apparent machine irregularity and carry out basic troubleshooting and corrective maintenance.

Project Management (20%)

  • Provides recommendation of works and estimates.
  • Participates in biddings and technical evaluation of equipment.
  • Executes project plan based on agreed timeline.
  • Effectively monitor project status, evaluates services of contractors prior to turnover to process owner and plant cost effective use of resources and deployment services.

What are the Qualifications

  • Degree graduate in Engineering with at least five (5) year experience in food manufacturing set-up
  • Indepth knowledge machine design and specification
  • Ability to guide team in doing basic to maintenance work (electrical, mechanical, instrumentation)
  • Understand the regulatory requirement of products, GMP, FSMS
  • Understand the food manufacturing and operational principles of products
  • Knowledge in lean manufacturing, statistics, problem solving techniques and continuous improvement
  • With knowledge in Microsoft Office and SAP PM module, or computerized maintenance management system.
