ROLES, RESPONSIBILITY, AND AUTHORITY:
Customer and Agent Interaction:
- Conduct inquiries and manage bookings from customers, sales teams, and overseas agents.
- Follow up with overseas offices, sales teams, and customers to obtain approval and feedback on quotations.
Quotation and Cost Analysis:
- Analyze and identify the most cost-effective and alternative solutions for inquiries and shipments.
- Prepare complete costing on the quotation system based on shipment terms.
- Communicate and seek approval from the sales team, HOD regarding costing.
- Send final quotations to customers and agents.
Coordination and Collaboration:
- Coordinate effectively within the team and maintain self-motivation among logistics experts.
- Establish and maintain close cooperation with local and overseas colleagues, vendors, and partners.
- Support negotiations of costs for sales and customer service when necessary or requested.
Monitoring and Reporting:
- Monitor and report on monthly progress towards assigned goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with inter-department teams (marketing, sales, airfreight, and customer service) to improve company sales and increase strike rates.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred, ideally in Logistics/Transportation, Business Studies, or a relevant field.
- At least 1-2 years of working experience in logistics (freight forwarding).
- Experience in data analysis with knowledge of SQL and Power BI &INCOTERM.
- Experience in OOG / Project management is an advantage.
- Ability in data analysis, careful calculation, and attention to detail.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English & Malay.
- Ability to work under pressure and overtime to meet deadlines.
Working Days: 5.5 Days
Monday - Friday (On-Site) = (9 Hours) 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Alternate Saturday (WFH) = (4 Hours ) 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
