Role Overview
We are seeking a Principal Process / Process Safety Engineer to provide senior-level technical leadership for upcoming projects. The role focuses on troubleshooting, debottlenecking, and specialist studies to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead process safety and engineering studies, including HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, and risk assessments.
- Conduct troubleshooting and debottlenecking studies to optimize FPSO performance and reliability.
- Review and approve process safety documentation (PFDs, P&IDs, safety philosophies, cause & effect diagrams).
- Identify process hazards and provide technical recommendations to mitigate risks.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company standards, and industry best practices.
- Provide mentoring and guidance to project and operational teams.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (recognized).
- Registered Engineer with BEM.
- Minimum 13 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years FPSO experience, and at least 3 years in troubleshooting, debottlenecking, or specialist studies.
- Experience in offshore oil & gas projects is highly preferred.
