JOB OBJECTIVE
- Using state of the art Electronics Design Automation (EDA) and Design for Manufacturing tools to deliver flawless PCB design.
- Interfacing with cross functional Engineering teams on PCB layout requirements and guidelines, as well as liaising with PCB fabricators and factory on PCB fabrication and assembly related technical issues and engineering queries.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- PCB design & design probe card.
- Produce a quality design to meet internal & external expectations.
- Explore improvement opportunities and make proposals for corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare all Schematic, PCB layout, Mechanical Parts Drawings, Source Code, User manual, and maintain a proper technical recording.
- Always provide solutions and improvement for product.
- Take responsibility and accountability for the design in the assigned project.
- Attending production & customers design related issues and provide commitment on the improvement action.
- Follow up closely on every single design that has been done.
- Make sure the design output meets the design input.
- The design must go through a proper review & verification before sending out for production fabrication or purchasing sourcing.
- Ensure fully understand the requirement/specification of task and what need to be archived.
- Carry out project as assigned by the Superior, GM, CEO and/or EC.
- Always ready to learn new programming skills if required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Degrees/ME/PhD in Electronic/Electrical/Mechatronic/Mechanical Engineering/ Computer Science or equivalent.
- PCB Design.
- Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in PCB layout using Altium, Zuken or others EDA tools.
- Altium, CADSTAR will be added advantage.
- Good understanding of PCB fabrication, PCB technology and material.
