Job Description

About the role:

We are seeking a dynamic and client-focused professional to join our team as a Private Wealth Manager. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in wealth management or financial services, with a passion for building long-term client relationships and delivering tailored trust and advisory solutions.

Location: Menara AIA Sentral, Kuala Lumpur (near MRT Bukit Bintang)

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Salary Package: Basic (RM) + Commission (USD)

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide trust and fiduciary advisory services, addressing clients current and future funding needs.
  • Ensure all transactions and activities comply with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Build, manage, and expand relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Grow a strong client base through referrals, networking, marketing leads, and self-generated opportunities.
  • Proactively engage clients with relevant updates, market insights, and value-added communications.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell and deepen client relationships based on their evolving needs.
  • Deliver presentations to clients and business partners on trust solutions and services.
  • Support business development initiatives and contribute to achieving company targets and milestones.
  • Collaborate with team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to support team growth.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with business partners and stakeholders.
  • Assist with ad-hoc assignments as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Qualification in Finance, Banking, Accountancy, or related field.
  • More than 5 years of experience in banking, wealth management, or financial services.
  • Proven experience managing and developing client relationships, preferably with HNW/UHNW clients.
  • Strong sales, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Existing network of clients and/or business partners is a strong advantage
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team
  • Proficiency in English, Mandarin, and native language.
