Join our growing engineering team and help shape the future of sustainable industrial manufacturing. We're looking for a Process Engineer with a strong foundation in chemical engineering and plant design, who can contribute to the successful execution of engineering projects from concept to commissioning.
What You'll Do
- Prepare the initial Basis of Design with input from business stakeholders
- Perform detailed engineering: layout design, technical specs, tender documents
- Conduct technical evaluations and provide engineering recommendations
- Provide technical support and clarification during detail engineering, construction, and commissioning
- Collaborate with the AEI (Automation, Electrical & Instrumentation) team on control philosophy and design specifications
- Perform process design and calculations for new applications and equipment
- Supervise draughtsman on engineering drawings
- Support strategy planning, budgeting, and cost estimation
- Handle other responsibilities as assigned by the superior
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- 35 years of experience in oleochemicals or related industrial fields (advantageous)
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office tools
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English (Mandarin is a plus)
- Willingness to travel overseas for project-related activities
- Highly self-motivated, organized, and solutions-driven
