Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Textile Process Engineer will be in charge of all actions related to carbon disks production and industrialization of manufacturing process and in particular Composite and Textile Reinforcement.
- Create and maintain clear manufacturing process sequence and technique documents for compliance, ease and efficiency of manufacturing
- Identify root cause and corrective actions using problem solving Safran tools (e.g.: Ishikawa method, Six Sigma methodology)
- Provide technical support and guidance to the team and Operations/Maintenance, including establishment of Operating Documents, Work Instructions and Special Manufacturing Request updates.
- Participate in the material review board (MRB) in validating non-conformances, identifying proper disposition and containment.
- Participate in PFMEA, Risk Analysis, Problem solving, support and assist cross functional department by defining and resolving the critical technical issues.
- Perform qualification run and First Article Inspections (FAI).
- Initiate and lead process and equipment improvement projects, well verse on procurement process and liaise with vendors for smooth project management.
- Comply with the Group's Ethics and Business Code of Conducts, 5S and Safety policies and all applicable customer standards
- Adhere and actively participate in occupational Safety, Health and Environmental policies, Energy policies procedures and activities such as I-See I-Act, GPI, low carbon initiative etc.
- Adhere and comply with Business Ethics, Anti-Corruption, Flight Safety Management System, and others relevant policies, procedures and activities.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Key Requirements:
- Possesses a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any equivalent field or applicable experience.
- Knowledge of Mechanics of Materials and Factory 4.0 principles.
- Minimum 3 years working experience in related technical field, such as development of new processes or manufacturing.
- Good computer skills especially with Microsoft Office i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point, Statistical Analysis, Minitab, Power BI, Data mining, etc.
- Familiarity/experience with lean manufacturing, Supply Chain, AS9100, ISO-9001, Kaizen events, and continuous improvement techniques in relationship with the Factory 4.0 is a plus.
- Experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software is a plus.
