Who You Are:

We are looking for someone who would like to join us as an intern in Lumileds.

Position Summary:

Lumileds is seeking a highly-qualified intern to take responsibility for supporting the Process Engineers and Production Team in operation product sustenance.

In this role, you will be assisting the team on sustaining the products and processes in production.

What You Will Do:

• Gain experience in manufacturing working environment.
• Understand Lumileds products and process flow.
• Gain experience in supervisory skills with the ability to interface effectively with other departments.
• Learn up communication and presentation skills in daily routine jobs.
• Help in root cause analysis and data collection for daily excursion.
• Work together with process technicians and technical operators to perform daily production lot disposition and maintaining equipment and line performance.
• Improve production line performance in a structured approach, by using engineering tools such as fishbone, line balancing, man-machine ratio, etc.
• To lead 1 improvement project related to improving the company manufacturing process line.

What You Will Bring (REQUIRED Qualifications):

• Computer and software skills such as basic programming, CAD, Minitab, Microsoft Office Tool such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Power Point will be an added advantage.
• Contributes ideas and work in team in develop and improving the existing and new products.
• Able to work independently and interact with people at all level.
• Complies with environment, security, health and safety requirements.
