Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- The section to handle is: Middle of Line/OSA assembly which includes optical alignment processes and passive attach of optical components.
- Responsible for making sure process yield target and UPH target are met and are in control.
- Manages current product ramp up, making sure processes are ready, qualified and documented and in control.
- Manages new product transfer, making sure process are ready, qualified and documented.
- Conduct DFM, FMEA.
- Settle process and quality issues in Middle of Line/OSA assembly.
- Process capability/CPK improvement projects.
- Yield improvement/scrap reduction projects.
- HPU/UPH improvement projects, Cost saving projects.
- Handles Engineers and Technician.
Education & Experience
- A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electronics/Electrical) or its equivalents with at least 7 years of relevant work experience in electronics/semicon manufacturing specifically on process engineering.
- Experience in optical alignment/ optical sub assembly is highly preferred.
Skills
- Leadership capabilities to manage a team of > 15 Engineers and >15 technicians.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy the process of problem-solving.
- Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp.
- Expert in SPC, DOE, FMEA, DFM.
