Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Procurement Assistant you will play a crucial role in supporting our procurement activities and ensuring the

efficient sourcing of goods and services. Working closely with the procurement team, you will be responsible for

coordinating procurement processes, managing vendor relationships, and optimizing purchasing strategies to meet

the company's objectives.

  • Assist in sourcing and purchasing hardware, software and other materials required for projects.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and finalize purchase orders.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and delivery receipts.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock to meet project requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to understand procurement needs and prioritize purchases accordingly.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and new products to make informed procurement decisions

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices and regulations
