Key Responsibilities
Stock Ordering & Management
- Place weekly stock orders with the engaged warehouse to outlet using the designated system.
- Initiate orders with the warehouse which will issue POs to suppliers.
- Compile and send order sheets to the warehouse PIC for processing.
- Process inbound stock in the system based on the order allocation file.
Supplier Coordination & Direct Orders
- Place direct orders with suppliers who deliver to outlets using their own fleet.
- Allocate stock for each outlet and confirm orders with suppliers.
- Coordinate with internal admin to issue POs after supplier confirmation.
- Track and ensure sufficient stock across outlets and warehouse for timely replenishment.
Delivery & Logistics Oversight
- Monitor warehouse deliveries via provided reports and check for order fulfilment or drop orders.
- Manage special orders (Fast moving products) and coordinate with warehouse & logistics providers to prioritize deliveries.
- Ensure weekly delivery schedules are shared and tracked for inventory accuracy.
Inventory & Product Analysis
- Maintain and update the Purchasing Master File with accurate SKU costs and selling prices.
- Analyze the top-selling SKUs from sales reports to optimize ordering and stock levels.
- Guide the merchandising team on return/exchange policies and coordinate product recalls with suppliers.
GoodsReturns & Supplier Relations
- Maintain a Goods Return File and coordinate returns with suppliers and warehouses.
- Assess new product proposals from suppliers and remove slow-moving items based on outlet demand.
- Collaborate with suppliers on promotions and sales-boosting strategies.
