Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for procurement of materials related to mechanical and electrical (M&E) construction and installation projects.
  • Independently source and purchase project materials such as steel materials, pipes, hardware, instruments, valves, lighting fixtures, and other construction supplies.
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers to ensure reliable supply and cost efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers within the supply chain.
  • Conduct procurement market research and analysis within the Asia region.
  • Ensure procurement activities align with project requirements, budgets, and timelines.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant procurement or supply chain experience.
  • Familiarity with M&E construction materials procurement is an advantage.
  • Strong negotiation, cost analysis, and supplier management skills.
  • Good communication and coordination abilities.
  • Malaysian candidates with Mandarin communication ability are preferred.
