Responsibilities:- To liaise with suppliers for raw material and general purchase.
Source for potential supplier, negotiate terms of the contract and cost negotiations.- Prepare monthly purchasing and outstanding report.
Monitoring on delivery of goods purchased with Vendors for on-time delivery.
- Responsible for stock replenishment to meet customer orders.
Responsible to ensure goods/material are purchased according to correct specification, quality, light quantity and on time delivery.- Carry out supplier performance evaluation by yearly.
To schedule date and time of deliveries and to monitor suppliers delivering performance.
- Source for new supplier and follow up on evaluation such as quality, costs, delivering and financial status of new company.
Feedback purchasing information to the department head from time to time.- To undertake any other related job from time to time.
Minimum Diploma or Degree in any discipline.- At least 1 years of relevant working experience in Procurement from Manufacturing industry.
Ability to work under minimum supervision, analytical and a good team player.
- Computer literate and with fair spoken & written Chinese, English & Bahasa Malaysia.
Applicants with Mandarin speaking and writing is preferable.- Good knowledge of relevant purchasing terms, conditions, practices and procedures.
