We are looking for a detail-oriented Procurement Executive to support our retail pharmacy operations, specifically within inventory and stock purchasing functions. The role involves managing stock procurement, monitoring deliveries, maintaining compliance documentation, and ensuring optimal inventory levels across all outlets and warehouses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process monthly HQ stock purchasing based on inventory needs and sales trends.
- Track and follow up on purchased stock to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of signed poison orders for regulatory and audit compliance.
- Monitor stock levels, product ageing, and expiry dates to minimize waste and maintain product freshness.
- Conduct stock rebalancing between outlets and warehouses to optimize inventory turnover.
- Support inventory optimization initiatives to reduce slow-moving or obsolete stock.
- Notify Category Lead on price changes, promotions, and stock-out issues in a timely manner.
- Handle daily Special Orders and Routine Orders from retail outlets efficiently.
- Respond to outlet stock enquiries and provide procurement support.
- Coordinate and process initial purchase orders for new outlet openings.
- Any other ad hoc duties assigned by Management.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 13 years of working experience in procurement or inventory management, preferably in the pharmaceutical, retail, or FMCG industry.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical compliance, especially related to controlled/poison items, is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of inventory systems, stock forecasting, and replenishment planning.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP or procurement systems.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to liaise with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Highly organized, with great attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently under minimal supervision.
