Procurement Expert (WY)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company's retail and merchandise objectives.
• Source, negotiate, and manage vendor relationships to ensure cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery of goods.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and inventory teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Manage end-to-end supply chain operations including order processing, logistics, customs clearance, and delivery scheduling.
• Handle all freight forwarding arrangements for both import and export activities.
• Track and report key procurement metrics to control costs and improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with merchandising and sales teams to anticipate product demand and align purchasing strategies.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, legal regulations, and ethical procurement practices.
• Continuously assess and improve procurement processes for increased efficiency and value.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in procurement, preferably within the retail, merchandise, or FMCG sectors.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, supply chain operations, and procurement best practices.
• Practical experience in freight forwarding, customs documentation, and international logistics.
• Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent systems).
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
