Job Responsibilities

As a Procurement Intern, you will support the procurement team in managing purchasing processes, maintaining inventory systems, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role provides valuable exposure to procurement workflows, supplier coordination, and inventory control within a corporate environment.

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in procurement operations and inventory system maintenance within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, organized, and ready to contribute to the efficiency of our procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation, processing, and tracking of purchase orders.
  • Maintain and update inventory management systems to ensure accurate stock levels and timely replenishment.
  • Create and maintain inventory data in the system, including supplier and product master data setup.
  • Support procurement documentation, filing, and data entry tasks.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and timelines.
  • Assist in preparing procurement reports and performing basic data analysis.
  • Participate in initiatives to improve procurement and inventory control processes.

Qualifications


  • Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP or inventory systems is a plus.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to real-world procurement operations.
  • Able to commit to a minimum 4-month internship (16 weeks). Preference will be given to a final year student.
