Role Overview
Our client is looking for a Procurement Manager to lead end-to-end procurement across multiple projects and regional operations. This role manages sourcing, vendor relationships, and cost optimisation to ensure materials and services are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards. The role works closely with Project, QS, Engineering, Finance, and Operations teams and supports multiple projects running concurrently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement for projects and corporate requirements (RFQs, negotiations, POs).
- Source and manage suppliers for construction materials, M&E items, IT, office equipment, and services.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet project schedules and avoid delays.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and bulk purchase agreements to drive cost savings.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and resolve delivery or quality issues quickly.
- Ensure procurement activities follow internal policies and approval processes.
- Track budgets, costs, and procurement performance, and prepare basic management reports.
- Support multiple projects across the Asia region.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 58 years of procurement experience, ideally in project-based, construction, fit-out, engineering, or facilities environments.
- Experience managing multiple projects at the same time.
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Good understanding of construction materials and project timelines.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
- Strong communication skills; English and Bahasa Malaysia required. Mandarin/Cantonese is a plus.
