Procurement Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Procurement Lead to join our Malaysia team. If you are passionate about strategic sourcing, supplier management, commercial negotiations, and driving procurement excellence, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

As the Procurement Lead, you will be responsible for leading procurement activities across Malaysia while supporting the implementation of regional and global procurement strategies. You will work closely with business stakeholders and suppliers to deliver value, optimize costs, and strengthen procurement governance.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Lead end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, RFQ/RFP, tender management, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiations.
• Develop and execute category strategies aligned with regional and global procurement objectives.
• Drive cost optimization initiatives and identify procurement savings opportunities.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance to ensure quality, cost, delivery, and service excellence.
• Partner with Operations and cross-functional stakeholders to support business requirements and procurement projects.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance standards, and commercial best practices.
• Lead strategic procurement initiatives and support continuous process improvement across Malaysia.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who brings both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing, or a commercial function.
• Proven experience in sourcing, RFQ/RFP, supplier selection, commercial negotiations, and contract management.
• Strong knowledge of category management and procurement governance.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in a matrix organization.
• Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Self-driven, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in the following areas will have an added advantage:

• Contract Logistics (3PL) or warehousing industry.
• Indirect procurement and non-trade categories.
• Strategic procurement and cost reduction initiatives.
• Supplier performance management.
• Complex commercial contract negotiations.
