Job Responsibilities:
Develop negotiation strategies and lead contract discussions with both suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Oversee supplier qualification, selection, performance evaluation, portfolio management, and coordination of all procurement activities.
Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships with key Marketing agencies.
Collaborate proactively with departments to analyze their purchasing needs and propose relevant initiatives.
Coordinate APAC initiatives globally and foster a culture of best practices to be shared across regions.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and synergies in vendor selection to enhance efficiency.
In addition to core responsibilities, manage transversal initiatives such as implementing buying tools, evaluating supplier performance, ensuring suppliers social responsibility, and overseeing training programs.
Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in marketing, economics, logistics, engineering or equivalent. MBA is a plus.
5+ years in Marketing Procurement, preferably in Consumer Goods, Technology, or Luxury Retail.
In-depth knowledge of APAC marketing agencies (Media, Creative, Events) and global landscape.
Experience in marketing procurement with strong understanding of contract terms and related documents.
Skilled in working in international environments with excellent influencing and communication abilities.
Proven ability to consult with business partners, identify needs, develop plans, and present results.
Expertise in financial planning, spend management, and supplier performance.
Quick adaptability and impact in fast-paced environments.
Passionate about Huawei's brand, mission, and values.
Proficient in English, Chinese, and Malay (verbal and written).
Willing to travel across Asia Pacific as needed.
