About this Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Specialist with experience in the pharmaceutical sector to manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including inventory planning, procurement, order fulfillment, and regulatory logistics. This role is critical to ensuring the timely and compliant flow of pharmaceutical products across our markets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Management & Forecasting:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels across warehouses and distribution centers
- Work with Commercial and Business Insight Team to generate accurate demand forecasts
- Ensure stock availability while minimizing excess or expiry risks
2. Procurement & Vendor Coordination:
- Liaise with pharmaceutical manufacturers, CMOs, and distributors
- Track POs, GRNs, and coordinate inbound shipments
- Negotiate terms and ensure timely deliveries
3. Logistics & Distribution:
- Coordinate with 3PL partners and internal teams for warehousing and last-mile delivery
- Monitor cold chain compliance and product integrity throughout transit
- Prepare and manage shipping documentation (e.g., invoices, packing lists, COAs)
4. Regulatory & Compliance:
- Ensure all imports/exports comply with HSA, NPRA, FDA, and other regional requirements
- Maintain records for audits and ensure batch traceability
- Support pharmacovigilance and recall processes as needed
5. Process Optimization:
- Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Maintain SOPs and participate in digital supply chain systems enhancement Reporting & Analysis
- Track key supply chain KPIs (OTIF, inventory turnover, lead time)
- Provide regular performance reports to stakeholders
Qualifications & Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field
- 35 years of experience in pharmaceutical supply chain operations
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
- Knowledge of cold chain and GDP practices is preferred
- Fluency in English; additional regional languages a plus
