Job Overview
As a sourcing/procurement specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of their promotional campaigns by sourcing high quality suppliers, negotiating cost-effective contracts and managing project timelines efficiently
Job Responsibilities
- Overseeing and supervising business partners and internal stakeholders on all activities from start to end of the project
- Holistically manage risk in predicting, managing, mitigating risk and enhancing third-party risk management capabilities across a broader range of risk exposures, going deeper into the levels of supply chain, and continuous monitoring throughout the supplier life cycle
- Support organization stability through ensuring continuity of business operation with supply assurance and spend cost reduction
- Build, manage, elevate and upgrade business partners to one of leadership who can develop and maintain strong business relationships
- Review, compare, analyse, negotiate and manage purchase contracts
- Create and manage procurement management plan for each project which sets and defines everything related to the project which includes products to be procured, contracts, cost determination, decision criteria, production schedule, product production process identification with possible predictions, and cost savings
- Create, maintain and update weekly and monthly procurement & KPI reports
Skill & Requirements
- Possess at least Diploma or a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics/Economics/ Business Administration or equivalent
- Candidates that have minimum 1 - 2 years of working experience in Procurement/Purchasing will be an added advantage
- Computer literate and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Search Engines, etc.
- English & Mandarin (Able to communicate effectively with suppliers from China
- Candidates with experience or relevant experience in production planning (FMCG/A&P/ Merchandise or related industry)
- Reliable and responsible with good time management
- Strong negotiation skills
- Desire and ability to take ownership

- Self-confidence, tenacity and resilience
- Extensive experience working in the procurement or purchasing department
- Able to travel to meet with both local and foreign vendors to monitor, control projects when needed
- Fierce negotiation skills, and ability to monitor and manage challenging vendors
- Good analytic, strategic thinking skills and problem solving skills
