Core Responsibilities
Sourcing & Supplier Development
- Local Expansion: Identify and develop competitive local suppliers for raw materials, molds, and packaging within Malaysia and the ASEAN region.
- Vendor Excellence: Lead supplier audits, site inspections, and performance evaluations to maintain a high-quality Qualified Supplier List (QSL).
Cross-Border Bridge (Malaysia-China)
- Technical Coordination: Act as the primary link between the local plant and China HQ to align on material specifications and quality standards.
- Market Insights: Provide critical reporting on Malaysian market trends, currency shifts, and local policy incentives (e.g., MIDA) to support global strategies.
Operational Flow & Compliance
- Execution: Manage the end-to-end Purchase Order (PO) cycle and track material arrivals to ensure zero production downtime.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels and manage slow-moving inventory to optimize turnover rates.
- Compliance: Ensure all transactions adhere to Malaysian SST, import tax regulations, and OSHA safety standards.
What We Need:
- Experience: At least 2 years of procurement or logistics management within a manufacturing environment (Die-Casting or heavy machinery experience is highly preferred).
- Language Proficiency: Trilingual fluency is required—Mandarin (for HQ coordination), English, and Bahasa Malaysia (for local vendors and Customs/Kastam).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, or equivalent.
