Position Overview:

We are looking for a Product Compliance Project Manager who is tech-savvy, ambitious, and ready to scale with a fast-growing organization. This is a high-impact role responsible for ensuring that our entire global catalogspanning hundreds of product linesmeets rigorous safety and legal standards.

You aren't just a checker; you are a strategic bridge between our factories, our legal team, and our product designers. You will also take the lead on product packaging project management, ensuring that every box and label that leaves our warehouse is compliant and market-ready.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Packaging Project Management: Lead the project management for all international product packaging, ensuring that warning labels, translations, and required markings are accurate and current.
  • Global Catalog Oversight: Manage and maintain end-to-end product compliance for hundreds of product lines across all categories.
  • Regulatory Intelligence: Conduct deep-dive research into shifting regulations across Canada and international jurisdictions to ensure proactive adherence.
  • Factory Liaison: Communicate directly with global factories to verify materials, certifications, and production standards.
  • Cross-Functional: Act as the central hub between Legal, Product, and Supply Chain teams to integrate compliance into the product lifecycle.
  • Process Automation: Leverage tech tools to streamline compliance tracking, document storage, and renewal alerts.

Experience & Qualifications

Required

  • Tech-Savvy: You'll use project management software and databases to track 100s of SKUs simultaneously.
  • Ambitious: You don't just want to follow a checklist; you want to build a world-class compliance process.
  • Growth-Minded: You are eager to learn the nuances of international law and scale your responsibilities as the company expands.
  • Meticulous: In compliance, close enough isn't enough. You have an eye for the smallest legal details on packaging.
  • Experience: Proven track record in project management, ideally within product development, supply chain, or legal compliance.
  • Communication: Ability to translate complex legal requirements into actionable steps for product designers and factory leads.
  • Multitasking: Comfortable managing high-volume workloads across diverse product lines with overlapping deadlines.

Preferred

  • Knowledge Base: Strong foundational understanding of global consumer product regulations (e.g., CCPSA in Canada, CE, UKCA, Prop 65).
  • Background in sports, outdoor, or active lifestyle product compliance
