Product Designer

Ensemble Labs is a boutique digital studio working across product design, UX/UI, branding, design system automation and strategy.

We're looking for a Product Designer to help us turn client needs into well-designed, well-organised digital projects.

The role is primarily UX/UI and product design, but because we're a small team, you'll also get exposure to research and automation.

What you'll work on

• Turn briefs into user flows, wireframes and polished UI
• Design websites, dashboards, web apps and internal tools
• Research products, competitors and unfamiliar industries
• Explore and iterate on design directions
• Maintain clean Figma files and design systems
• Prepare designs for development and review implementations
• Help keep projects, tasks and documentation organised
• Gradually contribute to design systems automation and no-code projects

What we're looking for

• Most importantly, we're looking for someone with good design fundamentals and strong organisation.
• Solid UX/UI and digital product design foundations
• Good visual judgment, layout and typography
• Comfortable working in Figma and Creative Cloud Suite
• Structured and organised
• Curious and able to research and adapt
• Comfortable solving problems without always waiting for detailed instructions
• Good spoken and written English

Good to have

• Project management experience
• Motion design skills
• Webflow and/or Framer skills
• AI tools and AI-assisted workflows
• No-code and automation tools
• HTML/CSS or basic development knowledge

Who this suits

We're a small company, you'll probably enjoy the role if you like having some autonomy, working across different projects, learning new tools and taking work further than simply handing over a Figma file.

We're also fairly flexible in how the position evolves based on your strengths and interests.

Experience & setup

We're mainly looking for a junior to mid-level profile, 2–5 years of experience, but actual ability matters more than years.

Freelance, startup, agency and strong personal project experience all count.

Full-time. Kuala Lumpur/Petaling Jaya (TTDI area) onsite but WFH days negotiable.
