Job Summary
This position is for IIC Gen 1 and 2 ink supply product engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of the ink supply, meeting the desired product performance, and delivering the expected customer experience. The candidate will collaborate with various functional groups such as Manufacturing Partners (MPa), Operation, Process, SIE, PPSC and customer assurance to drive product quality, cost of quality and productivity improvement. The product engineer is also responsible for leading the change management process and resolving quality issues.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Lead and collaborate with MPa teams to review quality performance, manage quality issue, drive process and product improvement
- Lead and improve the product quality metrics and reliability testing performance
- Lead and work with cross functional teams to improve product quality, cost of quality and productivity
- Provide and implement best in class Quality Management System and Change Management Process
- Drive digital adoption in product and reliability testing
Job Qualification And Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Material Science/ Manufacturing or equivalent
- At least 2 years of engineering related experience
- Possess good understanding of process control, quality assurance, reliability, and statistical knowledge
- Exhibit good leadership, collaboration and communication skills
- Able to work independently, work well under pressure and tight schedules
- Great problem solving and project management skills
- Embrace growth mindset and knowledge of smart manufacturing technologies and data analytics will be an added advantage
