Product Engineer.
Job Location: Krubong, Melaka, Malaysia
This position will be located at Krubong, Melaka in a vibrant industrial area. You will experience different exciting local cultures in this historical state.
What You Will Be Doing
- Overview the Optocoupler portfolio with all associated manufacturing locations including frontend and backend locations and coordinate with the related engineering disciplines (process, production, quality)
- Defining, elaborating, approving and/or ensuring implementation of specifications and requirements, for the product assigned.
- Responsible to extract, review, and analyze production and test data logs to monitor yield, device performance and anomalies.
- Perform bench characterization to observe the current device performance meeting the product specification and product datasheet.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, performance, and efficiency.
- Performs independent judgement on subjects of relevance for the process assigned by completing engineering reports and provides qualified input on how to proceed in next steps.
- Collaborate with product marketing counterpart on device assigned to align on product performance, ensuring compliance with datasheet specifications and fulfillment of customer requirements.
What You Will Bring Along
- Masters/ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (electrical/electronic/manufacturing/microelectronic/semiconductor)
- 2 years experience in semiconductor as R&D/Process/Product Engineering
- Data analytics and analysis (statistical)
- Problem solving skills and excellent communication skills especially in technical
- Experience in characterization using bench instruments such as oscilloscope, power device analyzer and source/measure unit.
- Have experience usage of tester ETS88/JUNO/Aemulus/AOT. Have skill in Microsoft excel/Minitab and C/C++ programming is an advantage.
