Role Purpose

We are hiring a Product Manager to lead PineOne's expansion across Southeast Asia, based out of Malaysia. This is a regional role with ownership of product strategy, localization, merchant lifecycle, ecosystem integrations, and commercial growth across multiple Southeast Asian markets. PineOne is envisioned as the unified merchant operating platform and single point of contact for Pine Labs. This role will ensure the platform is adapted to regional regulatory, operational, and ecosystem requirements while driving merchant adoption and revenue expansion.

Responsibilities we entrust you with

1. Regional Product Strategy and Market Localization

Define and execute PineOne's roadmap across Southeast Asia.

Conduct country-level assessments to identify regulatory, compliance, risk, taxation, and settlement requirements.

Localize product workflows to align with country-specific payment rails and acquiring models.

Partner with Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Business teams to embed required controls into product flows.

2. Merchant Lifecycle Ownership and Growth

Own the end-to-end merchant journey from onboarding and ac va on to engagement, support, retention, and expansion.

Optimize onboarding funnels and reduce me-to-ac va on.

Drive merchant adoption, engagement, and platform stickiness.

Enable upsell and cross-sell of Pine Labs products and improve product attach rates.

3. Ecosystem and Partner Management

Evaluate suitability of existing third-party integrations such as acquirers, KYC/KYB providers, fraud and risk engines, lending partners, CRM, and reconciliation systems across Southeast Asian markets.

Identify and onboard new regional partners where required.

Monitor partner performance and ensure alignment with business objectives. Merchant Lifecycle Ownership and Growth

Optimize onboarding funnels and reduce me-to-activation.

Drive merchant adoption, engagement, and platform stickiness.

Enable upsell and cross-sell of Pine Labs products and improve product attach rates.

What matters in this role

58 years of Product Management experience.

Strong fintech or payments background across Southeast Asia.

Deep understanding of regional payment infrastructure, acquiring ecosystems, and regulatory frameworks.

Experience working with third-party integrations and ecosystem partnerships.

Data-driven mindset with strong commercial ownership.

Ability to operate independently in a multi-country, high-growth environment.
