Job Description

Responsibilities

  1. Work closely with Product Managers to shape the product vision and support the development of a clear, value driven product roadmap.
  2. Collect, assess, and prioritise customer requirements, serving as the primary customer voice; define business and functional requirements as user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  3. Break down product features into incremental deliverables and balance short term sprint goals with longer term product vision.
  4. Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure customer centric user experience and usability are embedded in delivered features.
  5. Collaborate with architects and the engineering squad to discuss implementation options and ensure efficient and timely delivery, based on a solid understanding of the platform technology stack.
  6. Define, maintain, and prioritise the product backlog; refine backlog items with the engineering squad using Scrum methodology and agree on acceptance criteria.
  7. Work with other Product Owners to ensure end to end integration across the overall solution landscape.
  8. Take responsibility for product release management, including planning scope and timelines for releases.
  9. Coordinate quality management activities, including functional reviews and acceptance testing, ensuring customer facing features meet requirements and expectations.
  10. Coordinate post production support activities, including prioritisation and management of bug fixes, incident analysis, and handling customer support requests.
  11. Take ownership of requirements and functional documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, configuration documentation, and related documentation.
  12. Serve as the customer voice throughout development and acceptance testing, working closely with Product Managers, UX/UI designers, architects, and the engineering squad to ensure de-livered solutions provide measurable customer and business value.

Requirements

Must Have

  1. Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 3+ years of experience in a Product Owner / Product Management role or in SaaS software development.
  3. Solid experience in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements documentation.
  4. Strong understanding of agile software development processes, with hands on experience working in Scrum methodology.
  5. Ability to balance short term sprint goals with longer term product vision.
  6. Good understanding of UX/UI principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with UX/UI designers.
  7. Outstanding cross team communication and stakeholder management skills.
  8. Excellent presentation and communication skills in English, including experience working with international and distributed teams.
  9. Strong team player with a proactive mindset, willingness to learn, and a can do attitude.

Optional / Nice to Have

  1. Subject matter knowledge in areas such as search, workflow, collaboration, reporting, data migrations, or translation services.
  2. External facing account or customer management experience.
  3. Knowledge or experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) or other scaled agile approaches.
  4. Deeper technical understanding of platform architectures to support discussions with engineering teams.
