Product Owner

The role

We are looking for a Product Owner with experience in product management to drive product vision and create a roadmap that delivers high quality, world-class, shopping experiences.Â

In this role you will work closely with our Development teams, Product Managers, Marketers, and UI/UX Designers to build and roll out our webshop which is one of our main products that delivers and improves business metrics. You will report to the Head of Ecommerce and work from our Damansara Heights office, on a hybrid mode.

Key Responsibilities

Driving Product Development:

• Take ownership of the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, in a fast-paced environment.
• Utilize analytics of user behaviors and design/user experience to drive e-commerce metrics.

User Experience Strategy:

• Strategize user flow and user journey, with a primary focus on enhancing the customer web experience.
• Lead the iteration of UX processes, deliverables, and standards guides.

Outcome-Focused Leadership:

• Define, track, and communicate product goals, ensuring a clear understanding of the desired outcomes.
• Experiment and apply new technologies and interaction patterns to solve customer problems.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Engage senior management and stakeholders to align on product vision, strategy, and execution plans.
• Test and validate concepts in the market through constant iterations.

Agile Framework:

• Prioritize initiatives and deliver within an Agile framework.
• Provide clear visibility of your team’s roadmap and key results.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Oversee development stages, acting as a liaison between product, operations, marketing, and development.
• Ensure continuous delivery of value to end customers and contribute to our business growth.

Data-Driven Decision-Making:

• Have a passion for data-driven decision-making, especially in dealing with ambiguity.
• Monitor and manage e-commerce reporting and metrics.

Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate effectively with colleagues from diverse functional backgrounds, different organization levels, and multiple geographic locations.
• Work hands-on with developers, designers, and operations to deliver product features that meet or exceed customer expectations.

The Requirements

• 3+ years experience as a Product Owner in an Agile environment.Â
• Outstanding communicator who can translate data into compelling customer narratives.Â
• Balance of technical knowledge and business acumen.
• Proven ability to lead product development, supporting marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job.
• Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
