Job Description

We aren't looking for a backlog manager; we are looking for a visionary. As our Product Owner, you will be the primary driver of a digital overhaul that redefines how public transportation is managed and experienced. You will sit at the intersection of urban mobility, real-time data, and user-centric design to build a system that is as resilient as it is innovative.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Lifecycle: Own the end-to-end product strategy from inception to production, ensuring every release adds measurable value to the B2B2C landscape.
  • The 5-Step Foresight: You don't just react; you anticipate. You will maintain a groomed backlog 3 to 4 sprints ahead of development, identifying blockers before they impact the team.
  • System Evolution: Develop a world-class Transportation Management System focused on customer analytics, operational efficiency, and automated AI-driven solutions.
  • Data Architecture: Collaborate with data engineers to design robust pipelines that transform raw ingestion into actionable business insights and enhanced user experiences.
  • Stakeholder Synergy: Partner with the CTO and Product Lead to align technical roadmaps with business value, facilitating weekly demos and release planning.
  • User-Centric Advocacy: Integrate deep usability studies and market research into every user story to ensure customer-driven design is a reality, not just a slogan.
  • Accountability: Define and track product-specific KPIs once live, communicating performance transparently to the broader organization.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years in Product Management, specifically within B2B2C e-commerce or Public Transportation Management platforms.
  • Agile Mastery: Deep experience leading teams in agile settings, managing ceremonies, and tracking health metrics (Burndowns, Velocity, Release Burn-ups).
  • Technical Fluency: Proven ability to manage data ingestion and storage strategies; you can hold your own in a room full of data scientists and engineers.
  • The Roll-Up-Sleeves Mentality: You seek discomfort to grow and push your team to do the same. You are a leader, a coach, and an individual contributor all at once.
  • Cultural Catalyst: You create an atmosphere of trust and high efficiency, promoting work standards that elevate the entire company.
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical hows into compelling business whys for stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Figma, Lucidchart or similar.
  • Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Tableau).
