Product Safety and Certification Advisor

Job Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities include Safety design and testing.

Work closely with the internal team, customer, and suppliers to deliver on time, cost, and quality from a Safety and certification perspective, and improve Safety one-time pass rate.

Provide guidance during product design, like Safety risk assessment, schematic review, PCB layout review, Mechanical drawings review, and lessons learned of Safety related.

Be responsible for the Safety test case specification according to the product requirements.

Be responsible for verification of Safety tests, communication with external test laboratories, analysis of test results, and generating test report

Be responsible for applying the new product for Safety and certification and getting approval

Technical support for customer projects' Safety and certification-related topics.

Job Requirement:

Full-time Bachelor or Master Major in Microwave, electrical, electronic, mechanical engineering, etc.

Minimum 5 years experience in Safety test, design, or multinational certification

Proficient in using an oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer and receiver

Strong ability to troubleshoot or resolve issues related to Safety

Familiar with multinational certifications and agencies such as CE, CB, UL, TUV, FCC, VCCI, BSMI, KCC, ANATEL, NEBS

Familiar with international regulatory standards such as IEC60950-1, IEC62368-1, UL62368-1, CISPR32, CISPR35, EN300386, FCC subpart 15B, GR1089, etc.

Experience in Safety design of Storage/Server/switches preferred;

Experience in AC power supply or DC power supply. Safety design preferred

Fluent English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, capable of international communication, CET-4

Excellent documentation skills, including record maintenance/ tracking and understanding of document traceability

Good initiative and positive personality, self-motivation

A detail-oriented individual and the ability to work in a team environment as well as individually
