Product Safety (Senior Specialist)

My client is a chemical manufacturing company, with a well-established supply chain hub in Kuala Lumpur. They are looking for a Product Safety (Senior Specialist) as they expand the hub and to take on global projects.

Your new role

• Manage product safety and chemical regulatory compliance activities, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and timely resolution of non-conformance issues.
• Review, validate, and maintain regulatory data, compliance documentation, and reporting processes to support compliance monitoring and risk assessment.
• Support audits, quality checks, and continuous improvement initiatives, including process documentation updates and corrective action implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to provide compliance guidance, troubleshoot issues, facilitate knowledge sharing, and deliver training on best practices.

What you'll need to succeed

• University degree, Master's degree in a scientific area, preferably in Chemistry, or related science discipline
• At least 3-4 years of relevant experience in Chemical Regulation, Product Regulatory Affairs, or related fields focused on Product Safety and Stewardship activities.
• Sound knowledge of Chemistry and regulations
