Product Specialist

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Product Specialist role based in Petaling Jaya. The Product Specialist will provide technical and product expertise for diagnostic and life science solutions, supporting customers with product demonstrations, training, and post-sales assistance. Responsibilities include responding to inquiries, preparing proposals, and assisting the sales team with product positioning and competitive insights. The role involves conducting market research, gathering customer feedback, and collaborating with internal teams to improve product offerings and customer experience. The Product Specialist will also maintain accurate records of activities, adhere to company policies, and represent Neoscience professionally at meetings, events, and customer sites.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience working as a Product Specialist or in a similar technical or application support role.
• Analytical skills to interpret data, understand customer requirements, and provide appropriate product recommendations or solutions.
• Clear and effective communication skills for presenting, training, and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Customer service skills, with the ability to respond promptly, manage expectations, and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Sales-oriented mindset, with the ability to support sales activities, identify opportunities, and contribute to revenue growth.
• Relevant academic background in life sciences, biomedical science, medical laboratory technology, or a related field.
• Comfort working in clinical, research, or laboratory environments and willingness to visit customer sites as needed.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Readiness to learn product-specific applications.
