Operate extruding line according to production plan and approved formulation to meet daily target.
To execute the processes of operation for quality production in compliance with the specification agreed with the QC department.
Record necessary information in the relevant report in an accurate and proper manner.
Report any deviations throughout the process to the relevant personnel.
To carry out the monthly and annual stock takes.
To be responsible for keeping the manufacturing facilities in good working conditions for manufacturing and prevent downtime.
Support the preparation and requisition of equipment and spare parts.
Perform routine maintenance works as per work order and schedule, using appropriate equipment
Assist to perform calibration for equipment according to schedule.
Continuously review and monitor operating processes in order to find continuous improvements in procedures, methods, effectiveness and resource utilisation.
Adjust machines to cater for different types of feed and to prevent disruption to the production process.
Adhere to regulations, legislative and other procedures such as HACCP, Machinery Department, GMP standards and requirements.
To reduce the shrinkage of feed in production.
To implement productivity improvement activities, preventive and corrective actions, and reducing process rejects.
To reduce the percentage of rejected feed from extrusion going to mixed feed for each shift.
Carry out cleaning works of the required areas as per schedule on a timely basis.
To perform any other tasks and assignments as directed by the management from time to time.
Qualifications
Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
At least 1 - 2 years of working experience in manufacturing field
